Vintage Carlton Ware “Salad Ware Foxglove” Small Jug

The delicacy and lightness of this vintage Carlton Ware “Salad Ware Foxglove” small jug is unbelievable! A delightful handpainted piece of serving ware.

Description

Featuring a single handle opposite the pouring spout, the rounded small jug features the Foxglove design on one side of the jug. The jug sits neatly on a round green saucer/ under-plate. Both the jug and the saucer have the backstamp “Carlton Ware Handpainted, Made in England, Trade Mark, Registered Australian Design”. Based on the style of backstamp, the small jug set is estimated to date between 1952 and  1961.

Condition

Both the saucer and the under-plate are in excellent condition for its vintage.
