Myall Lakes National Park is one of our frequently visited outdoor and adventure holiday spots.
My photo series captures a glimpse into our experience and enjoyment of the area. Five years. Same place. Same time of year.
The collection of shots embraces the patterns of change and sameness in the natural environment. Discover why and how we enjoy Myall Lakes National Park through photos…

I created this photo series to share the absolute beauty and complexity of nature. We are so lucky to live in a state and country that helps preserve and cherish the natural landscape for everyone’s enjoyment.
When surrounded by nature, I feel happy, calm, grounded and aware. Nature is a place for me to re-charge, be mindful and slow down my everyday. It’s heartening to know this place won’t be built out. Here, the weather is the leading force of change.
Did you notice how the photos of the goanna on the jetty are four years apart? Same place. Same time of year. Same goanna? I love taking the time to stop and notice the rhythms of all life.
The greater connection I have with the natural world, the more I am empowered to live a sustainable lifestyle.
What vibes did you pick up from my photo series? What are your favourites?
